NBA Dress Code Violation: David Stern
This is David Stern @ The Rucker (Rucker Park, Harlem, NYC) Summer of 2003, rockin' the Fat Joe/Terror Squad chain. No, this is not a photoshop job. This is the real deal.
Not quite sure why he's rockin' the Terror Squad Ice but this is pre-2005 NBA dress code. Maybe this was when he dropped his hip hop album which later flopped leading to the institution the '05 NBA dress code to get back at hip hop, who knows.
Shoutouts to San Fran for the tip!

Hilarious! Nice find. I think he was handing out "stern warnings" that day...

Reading things like this in retrospect, is awesome... for example this little gem:
"S. Carter also had the spectacular high school super Sebastian Telfair, who's supposed to be "The Next LeBron" only a foot shorter, in its backcourt."
A foot shorter on his jumpshot, perhaps.

man, ain't that the truth...I know we'd be shaking our heads going back and watching any old ESPN Draft Day coverage...all the hype about the ones who ended up being flops...and those who slid deep into teh 2nd round, or whowent undrafted abd became stars or quality players...if only GMs had a crystal ball...oh well, then we fans would have nothing to go back and laugh at :)
Sean, this photo is classic.
I thing this is warning..of that day.
